Justin is a Captain in the US Marine Corps who teaches at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Justin is married and recently had his first child. Justin started riding his bike seriously last summer. He rode in two organized century rides and started competing in a local practice criterium in San Diego. Justin started working with coach Jesse in June of 2009. After moving to Annapolis Maryland at the end of June, he start racing in the category 5′s.
Justin’s was in the top 10 in his first two races, and by his third race, he was on the podium taking 2nd. Justin finished 2009 with two podiums and one 4th place. In 2010, he won his first race handily and has been in the top 10 of every race he has done so far this year. Justin has upgraded to a category 4 and is halfway to having all his points to upgrade to a category 3.
Justin is diligent in following his workout schedule, and sticking to his training plan. We are confident that he has many more wins to come.
